As a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Ramzan, I have contributed to research focused on applying deep learning techniques to agricultural challenges. My responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, performing data analysis, optimizing machine learning and deep learning models, and assisting in manuscript preparation. I have worked on two research papers, a review paper and a technical paper, both of which are currently under review, and I'm currently collaborating with my supervisor on additional research publications. As a Data Science Intern at 10Pearls Pakistan, I worked on an end-to-end AQI forecasting project that strengthened my practical understanding of real-world data science workflows and MLOps practices. My work involved collecting and automating hourly AQI data ingestion through GitHub Actions, performing preprocessing, EDA, outlier handling, and advanced feature engineering, and experimenting with multiple machine learning models to build a reliable 72-hour forecasting system. I also utilized Hopsworks for feature and model management and developed a Streamlit application for prediction and visualization. Multiple regression models were trained and fine-tuned, with the best one wrapped in a MultiOutputRegressor and registered in the Model Registry.
